The main element of this layout is the map. Whenever you travel, you can check charity and souvenir shops for a map that shows the place you visit.
Once you have a map on hand, prepare your photograph and the card stock of your choice. This wooden background card stock perfectly complements my map!
Wait! Now That You Have Your Materials Ready, Then You'll Need To Start Incorporating Them To Your Layout....Let Me Show You...
Take your map and locate the area of the place you visited as seen in your photo. What you'll do is trim down the map with a paper cutter so we can put your location into focus.
Once trimmed down as seen below, use a tape runner at the back of your map so we can adhere it to the card stock. If your map is a bit old and wrinkled like mine, carefully apply the adhesive and make sure you stretch it out as you paste it down so it can sit flat.
Now, this little arrow embellishment that says 'adventure' is what will bring our photo and map together.
Alternatively, you can also sew in a red twine embellishment. Either way, it would really work well!
It's time to attach your photo! Put it right next to our little arrow embellishment pointing to the location in the map.
Add a few more embellishments to give it more personality!
Don't be afraid to experiment with the placement, whatever works for you!
And you're done! Isn't this such a fantastic idea for your travel photos?
I hope this layout inspired you to create new pages for your next travel adventures!
