How to Layer Scrapbook Embellishments
Hello! Welcome to today's tip where I share with you another simple trick to make your scrapbooking even more creative and awesome! I am going to show you how to make embellishments using hole punches, and how to layer these scrapbook embellishments.
For this design, you only need card stocks, and craft punches. You don't have to use hole punches like mine but it makes things a whole lot easier.
If hole punches are not available, you can use scissors instead.

What we're going to do is cut out some large circles, and then we're going to mix it in with some patterned circles. This is so easy to make, and you can watch television and make them at the same time for a rainy day.

Next, I'm going to make smaller ones. Keep in mind that you will need more smaller circles than larger ones because we're going to layer them up.
Now, learning how to layer scrapbook embellishments is the easiest. What I'm going to show you is how I put them together and show the ways you can display them on your pages.
I have an off-centered section here and we can add in a few more colors if we want to. I quite like the brighter colors here so I will add that to my layers. I like mixing them up a bit to get that sort of texture coming through.
Mix them around until you get the look that you want.
Next, punch a hole in the middle using your brads. Punch the brads into the hole and pin it along the back.
These embellishments can just sit at the base of your photographs or you can make them a feature of your layout. You can cover your entire page or make patterns out of these embellishments.
Finally, here's a layer that I have done that I am absolutely loving at the moment! I placed the embellishments along the top page just to divide these two pieces of card stock. I also added a few small circles, used different designs of brads, and added a few die cut flowers to mix with them.
Lastly, I'm going to stick these all down and add a little journaling along the line.
