Read the Step-by-Step Guide Below:
Start by making a grid line with your double sided tape. I'm using a really thin one because anything thicker would not look very good for this design.
Just carefully line up and place your tape on your page. I'm not too cautious about making the lines and boxes symmetrical.
Once you've completed your grid, pull off the white covers of your tape to reveal the adhesive.
It's a good idea to actually pull out the first batch of lines before putting the second one on top of it. I learned this the hard way because I had to use a craft knife to be able to pull out the bottom adhesive.
Time for some embossing fun! Get your embossing powder and pour it generously directly on your lines. Make sure you cover all the adhesive.
Remove the excess powder and dry it off with a heat tool.
Once your grid is dry and shiny, we can fill in the boxes with a splash of color! I'm using my distress oxides collection for this, which I'm just going to swipe right on to my page as seen below.
I applied various colors to different boxes and made sure I'm not repeating the same color for boxes that are next to each other.
Once your distress oxides have dried, you beautiful grid background is ready! All you have to do now is add your beautiful photos!
Now, you can try various photo placements. You can make small groups with your little photos, or just use a big photo and place it off center. Don't forget to add your embellishments to complete the look!
