For today's tip, relive those fun times with a vibrant bubble photo background effect utilizing die cut and stamping techniques!

Step 1

The materials that you'll need are: stamp, three Distress inks ( with different yet complimentary colors), card stock, circle stencils, and your memorable photo.

Let's start the fun!

Step 2

Start off by preparing two die cut circles and your photo.

For the first circle, keep the negative part, as it will be used as a stencil later on in the activity.

For the second circle, keep the positive part, and make sure that it is a bit larger than your first one. This will serve as a backdrop for your precious photo.

Step 3

Using your Distress inks, ink up your stamp and randomly print circles using your stencil, thus creating a lovely bubble effect.

As for me, I chose the colors: spun sugar, worn lipstick, and shabby shutters! I just love how the shades are so distinct yet flattering when put together!

Just a tip: You can overlap some of the circles and even let some go over the page.

Also make sure that you go right to the end of your stencil to create a smooth bubble effect!

Step 4

Once you are happy and satisfied with the formation of your bubbles, you can now mount your page into a cardstock.

I chose a pretty purple cardstock to mount on and further enhance my layout.

Step 5

Finally, you can add a title on the page to finish it off!

As for me, I chose a black script sentiment for my title, just to balance off the colors and the overall look of my layout.
